Foolish or Brave?
In this current society in which we live, there is much confusion over the meaning of the word "bravery". What is bravery? Does it require the total absence of fear? I, for one, do not believe so. Let me offer this humble statement on the matter, penned by yours truly:
A man that fears no danger is not brave, but foolish. Bravery means not the absence of fear, but the will and ability to do the right thing in spite of fear.
