Let Me Introduce You to My Wonderful Family

My father, Stanley, is a wise and gentle man; he is known to incessantly cling to Scripture as his foundation and guide for all areas of life, against all opposition. I always ask him for advice regarding business and theological questions. I certainly cannot deny that he has great knowledge and understanding of the Scriptures. My father is self-employed and has been for many years. He is also an Elder at our local congregation.

My mother, Brenda, has been committed to educating her sons at home for many years. She has a heart to help people that are hurting and in need. She enjoys singing and painting, though she hasn’t had time to paint for a long time. She is also patiently waiting for the day when one of her four sons will get married so that she may finally have a daughter (in-law)!

My eldest brother, Stephen (soon to be 25), is an outgoing and friendly person. He has an uncanny ability to memorize Scripture, which he has demonstrated before crowds on several occasions. His dramatic portrayals of word-for-word Scripture are a sight to behold! His dream-jobs include airline pilot and radio station DJ.

Shad (12) is known around our home as “idea man”. He dreams big ideas of things he would like to do and new ways to do them. He dreams of the day when he can own a cattle ranch and build his own log cabin out in the west. He is quite an avid baseball player with the East Pete Rec. Association; he usually pitches or plays first base. He is also learning to play guitar.

Shane (7), my youngest brother loves to sing a lot, play baseball, go bowling, and spend time with his brother Scott. He also loves to beat people at Monopoly (such as his Dad, Mom, brother Scott, and Aunt Dottie).

I am Scott, the writer of this blog. I don’t want to say much about myself here; you can read a little about me at my website Mission page.
