Plans for Scott Eash Multimedia in 2006

Right now, a number of improvements are being made to the Scott Eash Multimedia website. Some of the changes include the addition of an online store where our products will be sold, and where customers will be able to order our video services online. Keep checking www.scotteashmedia.com for these changes, and many more!

Currently, we are producing a documentary film which defends the modern applicability of God's Law. As the film host, I will examine biblical clues and search for the truth concerning God's Law. Topics addressed include: Jesus and God's Law, civil government and God's Law, and ceremonial law. More details and behind the scenes info will be posted on this blog soon.

This summer, we will release a DVD titled the Creation Film Pack, which contains our three Creation films. Included on the disc will be "Autumn & Winter", "Do Stars Prove the Bible Wrong?", and "Consider God's Creation" (a 2004 semi-finalist at the San Antonio Independent Christian Film Festival). This DVD will be available at www.scotteashmedia.com.

In addition to our current services of DVD Authoring, Duplication, and Visual Effects, we are adding a new great service - Photo Transfer to DVD! We can use digital photos to create a compelling slide show presentation, complete with exciting transitions, digital zooms, and background music. The finished DVD has many benefits and applications. Check the services page for more details, coming soon.

Lord willing, these are the things that we will accomplish in 2006. I appreciate all those who are ready and willing to support Scott Eash Multimedia in these endeavors!

Patriarchal Chess

Since I am one who likes to think (a lot), the game of chess naturally appeals to me. Recently, I was playing a good game of chess when I realized a startling fact: even the ancient game of chess promotes the philosophy of feminism!

In the game of chess, the king's army is not alone in fighting the battles. The king sends his queen to join the royal army on the battlefield, while he stays behind in safety! The queen must fight to protect the king! This is a perversion of God's plan as laid out in Scripture. God designed men to be the protectors and defenders of women and children.

I propose that the game of chess be modified in accordance with the principles of Scripture. Let us henceforth play only "Patriarchal Chess". The rules are the same except that the king and queen switch places. In "Patriarchal Chess", the queen is the most precious of all pieces, and the valiant king must fight to protect and defend her!

This is a simple, yet powerful, way to stay true to biblical principles, even in our playtime.
