The Launch of SEM Distribution
I am pleased to announce that Scott Eash Multimedia is forming a new label to distribute independent Christian films! SEM Distribution will bring quality movies and documentaries to Christian families through various distribution channels including web stores, video download stores, and traditional brick-and-mortar Christian retail stores.
This is a dream come true for me. For many years, I have wanted to launch into distribution as a means of promoting the independent Christian film industry. I realize that I am limited as a filmmaker – I am just one man. I can’t make all the good films that need to be made. However, I can help the independent film industry to grow by distributing films from other Christian filmmakers.
There are other filmmakers out there who make quality, God-honoring films, but most of these filmmakers hit a brick wall when it comes to distribution. There are many hoops to jump through in order to be successful at distribution. Most filmmakers don’t want to mess with distribution – they just want to make films! I am willing to put forth the effort to establish a good distribution network, and this will benefit many filmmakers, not just SEM.
SEM Distribution has already made distribution agreements with several independent film companies. We will begin by distributing seven films including comedies, documentaries, and political films. These films are as different from each other as they are from typical Hollywood fare. Virtually any genre is fair game, as long as it is a film which teaches biblical worldview lessons. Not all films need to be evangelistic. We also need quality films that are designed to build up and equip Christian families.
The following titles will be distributed by SEM Distribution:
Hero Dad & the Incredible Cave Rescue
When Jim Cummins (Jamey Sampley), an average dad with an average job, learns that his children are lost, possibly deep in the heart of a cave, he immediately assumes the role of the fearless hero. Although the cousin of boxing champion Evander Holyfield, Leonard Holifield is a legend all his own. As the bodyguard for "Ten Commandments Judge" Roy Moore, a martial arts grandmaster, and the Chief Combative Instructor for the U.S. Army, Holifield's life demonstrates how a man providentially inspired by the love and discipline of his father is destined to greatness.

Seven-year-old Gator Moore is unable to beat his brothers at chess. He comes to the conclusion that if he knew what his opponents were thinking, he could defeat them. He dreams up a contraption to help him read thoughts, but in the end he realizes that such tasks are best left up to God.

The work of Leonard Knight has captured the interest of such greats as National Geographic, Ripley's Believe It or Not, and the Discovery Channel. A Lifetime of Childlike Faith tells the true story of the simple man behind Salvation Mountain, and how his faith has driven him to do the seemingly impossible without even the benefit of electricity or running water.

In addition to these titles, we will also be distributing our own films, including A Defense of God’s Law and Autumn Breeze, Winter Freeze. I hope to add many more films as well. This is just the beginning!
