Let's Make a Movie!

What do filmmakers do on their day off? They make films of course! On Monday, I had the pleasure of spending the day with friends to make a western for fun. Special thanks to the Herr family for lending their talent to this film!

I planned an overall story for the film ahead of time, but each scene was planned on the spot, just before filming. The dialog was mostly spontaneous.

There was no lighting set up or boom mic. We didn’t intend to make this film professional. It was solely for the benefit of friends having fun together.

Our goal was to shoot the entire film in one day. Though we didn’t quite make that goal, we were pretty close. Enjoy the pictures!
