Praise Where Praise is Due
Sometimes, people have trouble praising someone they don’t like. We can easily dismiss anything that person says just because that person said it. I think it’s time we move beyond that type of thinking and be quick to praise someone for the good they do, even if we regularly disagree with that person.
By now, most of my readers are probably thinking “where is he going with this?” I’m leading up to something, just be patient.
The other day I happened to be listening to Rush Limbaugh. Don’t ask me why. I normally cannot stand to listen to him because he’s not conservative enough. He’s too far on the socialist side, in my opinion.
However, yesterday was different. He gave a long monologue about the evils of feminism. I know he will be bashed in the media (and even by Christians) because of the stand he took. I want to commend him for standing up for the truth. He recognizes that feminism is degrading to women as well as men. He even sees that a woman’s God created role is to be a keeper at home. Praise where praise is due!
Mr. Limbaugh might be interested in seeing the upcoming film from the Gunn brothers, The Monstrous Regiment. Hint, hint. Mr. Gunn, are you reading this?
