Counting down the days

It's just a few short weeks until the SAICFF. We're so excited that we've even added a countdown timer to GodHonoringMovies.com (it's in the sidebar).

Competition is fierce this year, and there is no end of speculation about which films will win. Many people think Fireproof will win both Best of Festival and Audience Choice Award. I'm not convinced. While I won't offer my own speculations, I will say that I think Fireproof has some tough competition for the Audience Choice Award. It's all about demographics. Children far outnumber adults at the SAICFF, and children can vote for Audience Choice. I'd say this gives The Widow's Might a good shot at that award. But then there's Pendragon, which will appeal to many teens at the fest.

Let's just say this will be interesting!

Pendragon has come!

Last night, I watched Pendragon: Sword of His Father for the very first time. What do I think of it now that I've seen it? Well, I hope to put together a review in the coming weeks, so please be patient as I gather my thoughts together. I'm not going to comment on the film before then.
