Q. Does this film teach that Christians should offer animal sacrifices?
A. As shown in the film, God's Law is divided into two distinct categories: moral laws and ceremonial laws (including animal sacrifices). Ceremonial laws ceased to be necessary when Christ ushered in the New Covenant. A Defense of God's Law shows why moral laws apply today, but ceremonial laws do not.

Q. Does this film promote legalism?
A. No. As we point out in the film, legalism is abuse of God's Law. I Timothy 1:8 says, "But we know that the law is good, if a man use it lawfully;" We want to promote "lawful" use of God's Law, not legalism.

Q. Does this film promote stoning people to death?
A. No. A Defense of God's Law was created to teach the basic principles of God's Law, not specific application of it. The producer chose to avoid dealing with specific issues (like the above question) for two reasons:

1) There is room for varying interpretations on biblical application. Christians do not need to agree on how to specifically apply specific biblical laws.

2) Now is not the time to address questions like the above. First, we need to settle the question of "does God's Law apply?" Once Christians settle that question, we can move on to asking "which specific laws apply, and how do they apply today?" We don't need to know specifically how the Law applies until we detirmine if the Law does indeed apply.
